Pasta with tuna, only 295 kilocalories per serving!

Our ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups boiled penne pasta
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons light cream cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cans water-packed tuna
  • 2 teaspoons fresh dill, finely chopped

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan bring the tomato juice and wine to a boil.
  2. Add the chopped onions and allow the mixture to boil for about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes, the light cream cheese, pepper and salt, and allow the sauce to boil for another 5 minutes.
  4. In a deep serving dish layer the penne pasta and the tuna. Pour the sauce over the tuna and sprinkle with the dill.
